Help Us Empower the Next Generation Through Immersive Language Learning
Since 1988, the Summer Language Institute (SLI) has provided students with transformative opportunities in language learning and cultural immersion. With your support, we can continue to offer intensive courses in critical and less-commonly-taught languages, provide meaningful global and community experiences experiences, and ensure access for students through scholarships.
Whether you're an alumnus, a community supporter, or a champion of global education, your gift makes a tangible impact.
Your donation helps us:
- Provide scholarships to deserving students
- Sustain and expand offerings and advanced levels in critical and less-commonly-taught languages
- Organize local excursions and cultural events that bring language to life
- Host community engagement programs that bring students and the Pittsburgh community together in celebration of Eastern European, Central European, and Near Eastern cultures
Donors who are interested in making larger gifts to specific projects or language programs should reach out to SLI management directly at sliadmin@pitt.edu.
