1st-Year Hungarian
6 Weeks in Pittsburgh
Hungarian at the beginning level taught at the SLI provides the equivalent of one academic year's worth of study. SLI offers Hungarian in-person on the main campus of the University of Pittsburgh. Depending on student demand, online sections or remote participation can sometimes be arranged.
Hungarian classes meet Monday - Friday from 9:00 am - 2:50 pm ET for 5 academic hours per day with a break for lunch. In addition to intensive language classes, students also attend Hungarian films, lectures on politics and culture, and activities featuring Hungarian culture on topics such as art, music, movement, and cuisine.
