Salim Gurbuz

Salim holds a BA in English Language Teaching from Boğaziçi University and an MA in Teaching Turkish as a Foreign Language from Hacettepe University. He taught Turkish at the University of Pennsylvania as a Fulbright FLTA. He enjoys creating content for Turkish instruction using authentic materials and also practices Ebru, the traditional Turkish art of paper marbling recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage. Having lived in about a dozen cities and traveled extensively around Türkiye, he has a lot to share about his home country and its culture. Two things he can never say no to are hiking and a cup of black tea.
